If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or just need someone to talk to who truly listens, you’re in the right place. Some people come to therapy when they’re going through something specific. Others come because they want to understand themselves better, build healthier habits, feel more grounded or have felt unheard, misunderstood and judged. Whatever your reason, you can consider this a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space to figure things out.
Therapy with me is client-centered, collaborative and personalised. That means we’ll work together to understand what’s going on for you, and find ways forward that are meaningful and relevant to your life. More than quick solutions or suggestions, I strive to facilitate self-awareness and insight building in the hope to empower you with the knowledge and tools that are based in your lived reality and you can utilise in the long-run. Additionally, I stress the importance of ecological view towards mental health. That means, I understand that our identities, such as gender, sexuality, culture, family roles, social background, and other ecological systems such as educational background, job accessibility, policies, climate, technological shifts deeply interact and influence our mental health and how we navigate it. I aim to create a therapeutic space that is safe, affirming, and respectful, where these aspects of who you are are acknowledged and thoughtfully integrated into the work we do together.
At the heart of it, I believe therapy is a space where you don’t have to pretend. You get to show up exactly as you are, get to be as open as you feel comfortable and we figure things out from there, together.
If this sounds like something you’ve been looking for, I’d be honoured to walk alongside you on this journey.
